Thank you to all the parents who helped make our Valentine's Day Party a blast!! READING/LA: We will read biographies and write a timeline using the informatio
n we read. The children will also write biographies about the person we interviewed last week. Thank you for your help with the interviews!
SPELLING: Our spelling words this week will include words with r-controlled vowels and biography themed words.
MATH: We will start Chapter 10 on probability this week. The children will be looking at events that are certain/impossible, more likely/less likely and equally likely. They will also be recording possible outcomes of events. Please reinforce these concepts and vocabulary words at home.
SOCIAL STUDIES: In honor of Black History Month, we will be learning about Great African- Americans who have made a difference! We will also be reviewing facts about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. The children will have a small quiz on all the information they have lear
ned. Your child will bring home a study guide to study from.
